If like me you’re partial to a song in seven or five or even twenty seven, this is the place for you. It’s endearingly random, jumping from Moondog to Prokofiev to the speed metal of the mighty Helmet but if you like to find the one it’ll certainly pass your time. OK so it’s hugely muso to quibble about exactly what time signature The Bad Plus are playing in but who cares ,this is a new way on me to slice the musical pie.
PS: The Count up there reminded me of this brilliant bit of music. In an odd meter, of course.
